Jim Webb
Jim Webb and his wife, Shirley moved to Kerrville, Texas in December of 1994 after having lived in Brownsville, Texas for about fifty years. Jim was General Manager of the Brownsville Irrigation & Drainage District for thirty years prior to his retirement in December of 1994.
His military service was with the 158th Regimental Combat Team (Bushmasters) in the Pacific during World War Two (1944-1946). He was in the Philippine Islands, New Guinea and went to Japan at the end of the war.
Jim and Shirley have two children. Their son (Bob) lives in Corpus Christi TX and is operations manager for Channel Six Television in Corpus Christi. Their daughter, Vicki, is married to Robert Hunter and they have three children (David, Eileen and Christopher) and they live in Las Cruces NM.
Jim & Shirley now spend their time working the genealogy of their families, traveling and corresponding with friends and family members via e-mail. They each have their separate computers and separate e-mail accounts.
